Nigerian Government Confers Productivity Award on Honeywell Group’s Chairman

The Federal Government of Nigeria, at a ceremony held on the 28th of November 2019 in Abuja, conferred the National Productivity Order of Merit (NPOM) award on Chairman of Honeywell Group, Dr. Oba Otudeko, CFR.

Mr. Boss Mustapha, Secretary to the Government of the Federation, who represented President Muhammadu Buhari, presented the award to Dr Oba Otudeko, CFR and other recipients.

Speaking on the award, the Minister of Labour and Productivity, Dr. Chris Ngige said the National Productivity Order of Merit Award was given to individuals and corporate organisations that stimulate productivity and have made significant contribution to the economy. 

Speaking further, the Minister said the award was conferred on Dr. Oba Otudeko in recognition of his contributions to the on-going diversification of the nation’s revenue base through his initiatives in the area of backward integration that have significantly impacted wealth creation and employment generation in Nigeria.
